- Is this toy large enough for an adult Rottweiler? Answer: No doubt! We have 2 yellow labs (adult & 1 yr old) and they chew on it all the time. They each take an end and drag each other around. We throw it in the dishwasher (top shelf) to clean it. The squeaker doesn’t work anymore, but not bite marks on it. Only mud caked around the nubs. KONG toys are the best! – Second Answer: I couldn’t tell you about an adult rottweiler. I have a small 12 lb beagle, chihuahua, parsons russell terrier mix, but he’s the most toy destructive dog I’ve EVER had and the kong sqeezz stick is in pristine condition after a very long time. (Non of his “extra-tuff” toys ever last more than 15 minutes so that is saying something.) The squeaker still works and he plays with it every single day. Toughest toy he’s ever gotten. He resembles a labrador running with a 2 X 4 when he brings it down the hall to take to bed.
